I am William Coleman as my name elsewhere indicates, I would like to get involved with volunteer programming work. Would anyone point me to some places i can reside and work.

If you’re looking to do some small programming projects, feel free to sign up for a Sparked account and browse the available opportunities. There are a ton of nonprofits on our system looking for help with their websites, and I’m sure they’d appreciate your help!
If you’re looking for in-person web programming opportunities, I’d recommend checking out VolunteerMatch. They are a great resource if you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity in your community.

Hi! Does Sparked have any sort of badge/widget that users can put on their website/blog? I think it would be neat if volunteers and nonprofits could display their support of Sparked. Maybe an “I’m Sparked” badge or something? Who knows, maybe you could post a challenge for someone to make one!

I just found the Sparked.com and this is 100% awesome idea! I would like to read more stories about how people use Sparked.com to keep the process rolling and make their projects success.

Oh, just in addition to the previous post. It would be great if there is some mentorship program where you can ask people to advise you on volunteering management and operations. In reference to Smtty, something like a badge of “I am a Sparked.com mentor” would be great!
